My Mother and Father always played old time country on their fold-down phonogrpah. This channel brought back alot of old memoried. Hank, Hank Snow, Skeeter, George Jones. Loved it.

Not the biggest country fan, bt wasn't too bothered listening to country all day. Been to Nashville several times and the station certainly reflects the diverse mixture of music the town has to offer.

Had fun trying to guess the movie by the intro clips. People sure do look at you strane when you pull up next to them at a stop light and they hear the soundtrack to "Dark Crystal" blaring out the car stereo :)

I am not the norm, and have never agreed with the the masses in regards to anything, nonetheless music. OK channel, but not a preset.

I can ee this being a good business or work channel. Mellow but not to the degree of "elavator music" mellow. Overall a decent channel.

Not a huge fans of 60's music but will crank out some old Stones or Buffalo Springfield every now and then. I would listen if I were in the mood.

I didn't enjoy this channel as much as the 40's. The channel did bring back memories of theclassic car shows the local volunteer fire company had in my hometown. If I was in the mood for the music or grew-up in the era, I would tune in, but probably not for every day listening.

I honestly have to say I had a blast listening to the radio today. I did however change the station when the "in-laws" were in the car. The would have rushed me to the nearest hospital if they heard The 40's coming out of my car stero. Good stuff - Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington. I have so much fun!

I can't say I am the biggest fan of Top 40 music. Actually can't say I am a fan at all of Top 40 music. Doesn't seem all that bad of a cannel if Top 40 is your thing.

Started out thinking this channel would be the highlight of my week, but soon remember why I bought the XM. Sounded too much like commericial FM wich I seek to avoid. I few Soundgarden and Alice in Chain tunes did make the journey a little less painful.

Day 2 - The 80's Channel 8

Broke out my old Miami Vice sport coat for this one. I was surprised it still fit. :) But anyhow, I enjoyed the mixed even though I wasn't into the Flock of Seagulls, Duran Duran side of the eighties. Did enjoy the older Ozzy and Bon Jovi and like. I was like being back in middle school without having to deal with the ropes in gym class.

I can't say "The 70's" will find a spot into the memory channels of my receiver, but it was a somewhat enjoyable journey. I only of shoving sharpened sticks in my ears once, but K.C. and the Sunshine Band has that affect on me. Enjoyed the likes of James Taylor, Oliva Newton-John, Linda Ronstadt.

Well much to my surprise, this morning's venture into the XM Bootcamp brought me Christmas music by Chicago. I kind of got into "Santa Claus is Coming To Town" but "What Child Is This" and "Christmas Time" were almost a little too mellow for the morning commute.
